I've lived all over the country and can say from experience that Austin has all the advantages of a big city, but is friendly like a small town. That's why so many people are moving here and so many stay.

After earning my Master's degree in Construction Management at Colorado State University (CSU) I went into the field of historic preservation. Over a more than 18 year career I taught at CSU, worked for a multi-million dollar grant program funding work at historic sites, and served as the Deputy Historic Preservation Officer for the City of Austin. Currently I serve as a Board member for Preservation Austin.

My background gives me a special understanding of our central and historic neighborhoods. My passion for historic preservation comes from an appreciation of architecture from all eras, and a desire to support sustainable and livable neighborhoods. I understand the importance of place and look forward to helping my clients find the special place they'll call home.
